WILDLIFE PRESERVATION PROJECT
AKUMAL MONKEY SANCTUARY & RESCUED ANIMALS
More than 30 monkeys need your help. This project aims to provide the spider and howler monkeys that live in Akumal Monkey Sanctuary, with 3 basic needs: Welfare, Health and Nutrition.
Akumal Monkey Sanctuary & Rescued Animals is space created with the aim of sheltering various wild animal species mainly influenced by human or natural factors, and in most cases preventing their reintroduction into their natural habitat.
We have developed the Monkey Liberation Project with great ambition; In the short, medium and long term this will help us to conserve these species that live in Mexico.
Throughout history, Mexican primates have been very endangered, including victims of the illegal pet trade, population growth in their natural habitats, contamination, environmental factors.
